If you are curious to experience a largely unseen dimension of nature, the Electric Life Presentation with Sander Funneman offers a rare and eye-opening journey. On Sunday, March 22nd, 2026, at the Embassy of the Free Mind in Amsterdam, you are invited to explore a world where electricity is a natural driver of life itself and not just a technological force.
In this immersive presentation, Sander reveals the electric ecosystem that quietly sustains plants, animals, oceans, and human beings. You will discover how bees recharge themselves like living batteries, how endangered coral reefs can recover through natural electrical currents in the ocean, and how the constant electrical input from the earth and the sun influences human health, emotions, and even consciousness. The presentation also invites profound questions: Where does the electricity behind our thoughts and feelings come from, and what does this mean for how we understand life and our future?
Using engaging film clips, live demonstrations, storytelling, dialogue, and experiential exercises, Sander guides participants beyond a purely physicochemical view of reality toward a deeper electromagnetic understanding of life. This shift in perspective opens space for wonder, insight, and a renewed sense of connection with the natural world.
The presentation is inspired by the graphic novel Electric Life by Sander Funneman, published in both Dutch and English, which explores the hidden electrical patterns that shape existence. Together, the visual storytelling and live presentation create a compelling and accessible experience that is both scientifically grounded and deeply inspiring.
Date: Sunday, March 22
Time: 14.00 - 17.00
Ticket Price: €18
