About

English summary: Roelof van den Broek’s comprehensive introduction is followed by a translation, with extensive commentary, of five gnostic texts from Nag Hammadi, four of which were previously unknown. The revised version of Roelof van den Broek’s introduction was published as Gnostic Religion in Antiquity by Cambridge University Press in 2012 and was hailed as an event by Dylan M. Burns in the Journal of Early Christian Studies (2015)
