A warm – nay SCORCHING hot Summer welcome back to the Codex!

For our articles this month, we have quite a healthy portion for you. First up, we have José Bouman, who wrote a piece about a curious tale involving an extremely rare theosophical book in our collection, namely Jakob Böhme’s Weg zu Christo (The Way to Christ) from 1624. Next, I (Corey) wrote a piece concerning a beautiful little book in our collection by A.E. Waite about some of the ‘deeper aspects’ of symbolism within Freemasonry – this will end up being a two-parter. Then, we have the second part of Dr José Leitão’s fascinating article about the mysterious ‘Faust grimoire’ in our collection – this one really blew me away.
