Vibe Coding- Humanities & AI

Man at the Crossroads by Diego Rivera, 1934

Welcome to the frontier where vibe coding meets the humanities.

In this hands-on workshop, you'll discover what becomes possible when ancient wisdom, cultural memory, and philosophical depth aren't just references but active ingredients in your creative code. You'll shape generative AI with intention drawn from rare texts, symbolic traditions, and humanist thinking, turning meaning into software and curiosity into digital artifacts. Whether you're continuing a project from a previous session or joining for the first time, all levels and backgrounds are welcome.

You'll learn to turn ideas rooted in ancient and humanist traditions into generative artifacts, from interactive agents to symbolic visual narratives, and connect with a community doing the same.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Experiment hands-on with prompts, models, and workflows that weave philosophical and cultural meaning into every output
  • Create generative works (text, images, agents) inspired by ancient sources and emerging paradigms
  • Explore AI as a creative partner through methods drawn from symbolism, ritual, and embodied inquiry
  • Connect with other explorers across Amsterdam's AI and humanities scene

This isn't a lecture. It's a creative lab. You'll leave with tools, practices, and outputs you can build on immediately.

What to Expect

This workshop is for Amsterdam's AI creatives, humanists, scholars of esotericism, philosophers, artists, and the simply curious. Together, we'll transform classical wisdom and new paradigms into expressive digital forms while connecting you with open-minded thinkers and creative leaders in Amsterdam's interdisciplinary community.

Core Workshop Themes

  • Vibe Coding · Manifest digital software with vibes. Learn how intention, ritual, and meaning-making can shape the artifacts you create.
  • AI Translations · Draw inspiration from ancient texts. Work with actual digitized sources and reinterpret them through generative models for creative output.
  • Imagination Architecture · Move from idea to visualization. Design the bridge between inner vision and digital expression.
